Is the movie Knocked Up inappropriate? ›

Parents need to know that, like The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up earns its R rating with drug use, strong language (it's constant, particularly "f--k"), nudity, and nonstop explicit conversations about sex.

Here we see a 24 year old Seth Rogen, a 23 year old Jonah Hill, and a 39 year old Judd Apatow. Rogen has mentioned that Knocked Up, Superbad, and Pineapple Express were all filmed in the span of one year.

Alison's mother (Joanna Kerns) tries to persuade her daughter to have an abortion, but Alison decides to keep the child. Later, Alison and Ben decide to give their relationship a chance.
